Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid – supporting federal agency operations

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a motivated Business Analyst to support a federal client in delivering mission-critical software solutions within an Agile environment.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, scrum masters, and software developers, to support requirements, testing, and delivery of enterprise systems. You will play a key part in ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions while contributing to the successful delivery of secure, high-quality systems.

What You’ll Do

As a Business Analyst, you will:

• Analyze, design, and document business processes and requirements, translating user needs into Agile user stories and acceptance criteria
• Support acceptance and regression testing by developing test scenarios, validating functionality, and troubleshooting issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Develop internal and client-facing materials such as presentations, training content, process documentation, and release notes
• Assess current state processes to identify improvement opportunities and define future solutions
• Support backlog creation, refinement, and prioritization in collaboration with product owners and program leadership
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation

Schedule & Shift Details

• Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Hybrid work environment supporting federal program operations

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active Secret Clearance required
• Minimum of 0–2 years experience in Agile project delivery environments
• Minimum of 0–2 years experience in quality analysis or testing support
• Experience with client relationship management
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new systems, tools, and business processes in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive, responsible, and adaptable approach to work
