Make an Impact Where It Matters Most
Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled Sr. Java Developer to lead the design and development of secure, large-scale applications for a federal client.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Leading the design and development of multiple applications for a large-scale federal IT program using Java/Spring-based REST APIs, a Web 2.0 framework, and a continuous integration environment.
Developing enterprise-grade Java/Spring solutions, conducting detailed design reviews, and guiding a team of software developers through the implementation process.
What You’ll Do
As a Sr. Java Developer, you will:
Provide technical leadership to development teams
Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable enterprise applications
Perform detailed code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet mission objectives
Ensure solutions meet federal security and compliance standards
Schedule & Shift Details
Full-time (40 hours/week)
On site in Colorado Spring CO
Requirements
8+ years of hands-on development experience, including at least 6+ years of Java/Spring development experience
Significant experience developing applications using the Java Spring framework
Proficiency with Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
3+ years of experience with web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, JSP, etc.)
3+ years of experience in Agile Scrum development methodologies
Fully adjudicated DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of Java development experience in building enterprise applications
3+ years developing enterprise solutions using the Java Spring framework
Detailed understanding of database schema design/SQL
Experience leading a team of developers for a large-scale Federal IT program
