Location: Albany, NY – Onsite supporting federal law enforcement operations


Make an Impact Where It Matters Most

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a Junior Analyst to provide critical analytical, operational, and administrative support to a federal law enforcement client in New York City.

This role supports front office operations, protective services oversight (PSO), and mission-critical operational reporting. You’ll work side-by-side with government personnel, contributing directly to secure operations, program integrity, and effective decision-making.


What You’ll Do

As a Junior Analyst, you will support federal operations across front office, program, and operational functions, including:

Front Office Support

  • Prepare, review, edit, and compose correspondence, memorandums, meeting minutes, emails, and other internal and external communications

  • Provide recommendations and supporting documentation for administrative and management process improvements using government and industry best practices

  • Collect, assemble, and deliver daily operational data and reports to management

  • Track and execute actions within the Correspondence Analyst Task Tracker (CATT) system

  • Support employee performance work plans and evaluations using the USA Performance Management system

  • Run reports, compile data, and conduct analysis of threat, criminal case, and operational data stored in the Law Enforcement Information Management System (LEIMS)

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and law enforcement information

PSO Program Support

  • Coordinate work activities and provide direct support to regional CORs, PSOOs, and task managers

  • Assist in identifying service requirements from federal customers, including new and modified services

  • Prepare cost estimates for new task orders, wage adjustments, and service changes

  • Prepare and submit G514 Requisitions in the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS)

  • Prepare Security Work Authorizations (SWAs)

  • Track task order expiration dates and ensure timely submission of funding and exhibits to prevent service lapses

  • Review and verify contractor and vendor timesheets for accuracy and contract compliance

  • Conduct initial invoice reviews, document discrepancies, update burn rate spreadsheets, and prepare receiving tickets in FFMS

  • Prepare invoice receiving reports

  • Track PSO training, licensing, and qualification requirements in designated IT systems

  • Assist with contract closeout activities

  • Conduct PSO administrative audits and prepare documentation for COR review and approval

  • Compile data for Performance Monitoring Meeting reports

  • Perform other duties commensurate with the position, as assigned

Operational Support

  • Track, compile, report, and maintain operational records including:

    • Prohibited items

    • Post visits and inspections

    • Vehicle operation reports

    • DHS Form 3155 incident reports

    • MegaCenter reports

    • Purchase card expenditures

    • Supplies and inventory

  • Assist with official travel coordination

  • Support Time & Attendance using WebTA

  • Prepare and submit payroll reports as required

  • Track training for Federal Law Enforcement Officers

  • Assist with IT and equipment inventories

General Office Support

  • Perform reception and front desk functions

  • Answer calls, record and relay messages

  • Greet visitors, verify credentials, and make appropriate referrals

  • Prepare and maintain phone contact listings

  • Receive, process, and distribute mail

  • Maintain general office files and records


Schedule & Shift Details

  • Full-time (40 hours/week)

  • Onsite support required in Albany NY


Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • High School Diploma or Technical Training required

  • Associate degree preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience supporting administrative, analytical, or operational functions in a structured environment

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
