Infrastructure Architect (AWS)
Location: Remote – supporting federal agency operations
Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Architect to support secure, mission-critical federal systems. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure solutions that enable reliable, secure, and efficient government operations.
You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to translate mission needs into resilient cloud architectures, ensuring environments meet performance, security, and compliance standards required in federal programs.
As an Infrastructure Architect, you will:
Design and implement secure, scalable AWS infrastructure solutions aligned with federal requirements
Architect and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC
Apply cloud networking and security best practices to protect sensitive systems and data
Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions
Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve cloud environments
Document architectures, configurations, and operational procedures
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Remote work; support aligned to standard U.S. business hours
U.S. Citizenship required
Active Clearance
7–10 years of experience designing and supporting AWS infrastructure in enterprise or federal environments
Demonstrated experience with:
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Docker containerization
Kubernetes administration
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
Strong understanding of cloud networking, security principles, and best practices
Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Support high-impact federal cloud modernization initiatives
Work alongside experienced architects and engineers in secure environments
Remote flexibility while contributing to national priorities
