Make an Impact Where It Matters Most

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a Sr. Analytics Practitioner to support a federal client in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive mission-critical decisions.
This role plays a key part in improving data quality, analytics, and reporting capabilities across federal programs by delivering clear, accurate, and decision-ready insights.

You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze large datasets, identify trends and patterns, and present findings in a way that enables informed policy and operational decisions.


What You’ll Do

As a Sr. Analytics Practitioner, you will:

  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights

  • Perform data quality analysis, validation, and improvement activities

  • Apply data modeling techniques to structure and organize analytical datasets

  • Develop dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Databricks, Tableau, or Power BI

  • Create clear, concise analytical reports with recommendations to support decision-making

  • Clean, manipulate, and transform large datasets to ensure accuracy and usability

  • Support applied analytics, including exposure to predictive analytics or machine learning techniques

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and non-technical stakeholders to communicate insights effectively

  • Work within an Agile delivery environment, supporting user stories, testing, and SDLC activities


Schedule & Work Model

  • Full-time (40 hours/week)

  • On-site support required in Washington, DC


Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required (U.S. citizens or dual citizens only)

  • Public Trust clearance required or higher

  • 2 years of experience with data modeling techniques

  • 2 years of experience with applied machine learning or predictive analytics concepts

  • 2 years of experience with data visualization and dashboard development

  • 3–5 years of experience working with the Databricks platform or similar analytics environments

  • Experience using SQL for data querying and analysis

  • Experience with statistical analysis tools such as R or SPSS is a plus

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting data to non-technical audiences

  • Experience supporting government or regulated environments preferred
