Triage Counselors / Consultants - Kentucky

Make an Impact Where It Matters Most
Blue Rose Consulting Group is immediately hiring Triage Counselors / Consultants to support Military OneSource (MOS), a vital program serving Service Members and their families worldwide.
In this role, you will serve as the first point of support for individuals seeking guidance during challenging moments. You will assess needs, triage concerns, and connect Service Members and their families to appropriate non-medical counseling and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) resources. This position calls for sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to navigate high-risk and sensitive situations with professionalism, compassion, and care.
Military families face unique and often complex stressors. As the initial voice they hear, you play a pivotal role in helping them navigate challenges and connect to the right support at the right time.
Assess caller needs and determine appropriate courses of action for Military OneSource core services
Triage and de-escalate high-risk calls, including appropriate response to Duty to Warn situations
Document interactions, conduct follow-up, and complete required reporting in accordance with MOS program standards
Deliver a compassionate, high-quality customer service experience, even when immediate solutions may not be available
Operate in a fully virtual environment using provided case management systems (CMS)
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
Experience working with military Service Members, Veterans, or their families
Active DoD MC&FP Tier 2 (Low-Risk) Suitability determination
Willingness to support shift work, as needed
Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
