Help Desk Specialist (Microsoft TMT Support)
Location: National Capital Region (Onsite – Ft. Belvoir, VA and surrounding areas)

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support a federal client’s Task Management Tool (TMT) environment. This role is critical to ensuring seamless end-user support operations within a secure government setting.
In this position, you will serve as a frontline support professional, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 assistance for Microsoft-based applications while driving operational excellence across Help Desk processes. Your work will directly contribute to reliable, mission-focused system performance for federal stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
As a Help Desk Specialist, you will:
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for users of the Task Management Tool (TMT) application
Manage and resolve tickets using ServiceNow and other Help Desk systems
Develop, refine, and maintain standard operating procedures for ticketing and support workflows
Analyze Help Desk performance metrics to identify areas for process improvement
Escalate technical or operational concerns to program leadership as appropriate
Maintain and update knowledge articles within the team Wiki
Serve as a subject matter expert for TMT Help Desk operations
Support secure operations requiring access to NIPR and SIPR networks
Schedule & Shift Details
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Up to 100% onsite in the National Capital Region (primarily Ft. Belvoir, VA)
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship required
Secret clearance required or higher
Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting a software application, preferably Microsoft-based
Minimum of 2 years of Help Desk and troubleshooting support experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience supporting federal environments
Ability to work onsite in secure facilities with daily access to NIPR and SIPR networks
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Power Apps
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
Experience with SharePoint
Experience with ServiceNow administration or advanced ticket management
Understanding of federal business processes and customer workflows
