About the Role

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Identity Governance Engineer to support a federal program deploying modern identity governance and Zero Trust capabilities.

The Identity Governance Engineer will support the implementation, configuration, integration, and operation of enterprise identity and access management (IAM) solutions across high-visibility Customs and Border Protection (CBP) environments. This role will work hands-on with identity governance technologies, support solution deployments, and troubleshoot IAM issues to help maintain secure and compliant access for mission stakeholders.

The role requires an understanding of identity governance, broader IAM environments, and Zero Trust principles, along with the ability to work collaboratively with government personnel and technical engineering teams.

This position requires U.S. citizenship and a full Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Background Investigation prior to onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full software development lifecycle for identity governance and Zero Trust solution deployments.
• Assist with deploying, configuring, and maintaining identity governance capabilities for federal users and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the IAM ecosystem to support consistent availability and secure access.
• Support integration activities between IAM tools and federal applications, services, and infrastructure.
• Identify risks within identity governance workflows and support the implementation of secure configuration practices.
• Assist with configuration and operational activities across IAM solutions.
• Provide technical support for identity governance and access management capabilities.
• Collaborate with government personnel, engineering teams, and other technical stakeholders to support successful solution delivery and operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• Public Trust clearance or higher.
• Experience supporting identity governance or broader identity and access management (IAM) environments.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving IAM-related issues.
• Understanding of Zero Trust principles and secure access practices.
• Ability to support integration, configuration, and operational activities across IAM solutions.
• Ability to work effectively with government personnel and technical engineering teams.
