About the Role

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Java Developer to support a federal client in developing modern web and backend applications for mission-critical credentialing and case management systems.

In this role, the Mid-Level Java Developer will help design and implement enterprise software solutions that support secure federal operations. Working within a collaborative Agile development environment, you will contribute to building next-generation customer engagement platforms used by federal service agencies.

A $5,000 relocation bonus is available to qualified candidates.

This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active, fully adjudicated DoD Secret security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise web and backend applications using Java and Spring-based REST APIs.
• Build and maintain modern user interfaces using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Utilize development tools such as Git, Eclipse, and JUnit to support application development and testing.
• Support the design, integration, and deployment of applications within large-scale federal IT systems.
• Maintain documentation for software components, architecture, and development processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• Active, fully adjudicated DoD Secret security clearance.
• 4+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java.
• 2+ years of experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.
• 2+ years of recent experience developing applications using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java.
• Advanced experience with Java and Spring-based REST API development.
• Advanced experience with AngularJS and modern web development frameworks.
• Advanced experience with enterprise application development in large-scale federal IT environments.
• Advanced experience with Agile development methodologies, including the SAFe Agile delivery framework.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday
