Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is a certified HUBZone and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business supporting Federal customers with mission-focused technology, professional services, and operational support. We are building a team for the anticipated Department of State Global Mission Operations Support (GMOS) effort supporting the Bureau of Diplomatic Technology, Enterprise Applications Directorate, Office of Consular Systems and Technology.
Provide proactive and reactive Tier II support for legacy and modernized consular applications, including web, client-server, imaging, archiving, collaboration, and cloud-hosted solutions. This position supports the Department of State Consular Affairs global information technology environment, which includes domestic and overseas facilities, on-premises infrastructure, cloud platforms, applications, databases, and enterprise support services. This is a contingent position based on contract award and final customer requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve incidents affecting enterprise web, client-server, imaging, archiving, collaboration, and cloud-hosted applications.
• Install, configure, patch, deploy, and maintain applications using approved DevSecOps and CI/CD processes.
• Support application readiness, deployment readiness reviews, pre-production testing, rollback, recovery, and post-deployment monitoring.
• Use automation and containerization technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes to improve deployment consistency and reliability.
• Manage application accounts, access, certificates, passwords, availability dashboards, technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Coordinate with Tier III developers, engineering teams, security teams, and Government stakeholders to support ATO readiness, releases, and modernization initiatives.
• Support SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 collaboration services when assigned, including site collections, permissions, logs, lists, libraries, and workflow troubleshooting.
• 3+ years supporting enterprise web, client-server, or cloud-hosted applications.
• Experience with incident management, application monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, release support, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated deployment, and configuration-management practices.
• Experience working in Windows and/or Linux application environments.
• Strong analytical, customer-service, and cross-team communication skills.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or cloud platforms.
• Experience supporting consular applications such as EPS, MyTravelGov, OPR, or eCRBA.
• ITIL, Security+, Microsoft, AWS, Azure, or equivalent certification.
