Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is a certified HUBZone and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business supporting Federal customers with mission-focused technology, professional services, and operational support. We are building a team for the anticipated Department of State Global Mission Operations Support (GMOS) effort supporting the Bureau of Diplomatic Technology, Enterprise Applications Directorate, Office of Consular Systems and Technology.
Manage secure global IT logistics, warehouse operations, facility requirements, inventory control, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and worldwide deployment support. This position supports the Department of State Consular Affairs global information technology environment, which includes domestic and overseas facilities, on-premises infrastructure, cloud platforms, applications, databases, and enterprise support services. This is a contingent position based on contract award and final customer requirements.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse and Shipping and Receiving Facility operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, staging, fulfillment, shipping, and disposal.
• Develop and maintain facility management, security, staffing, workflow, inventory, safety, and continuity procedures.
• Manage access controls, alarms, badges, escorts, visitor procedures, physical security, and compliance with Government facility requirements.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, RFID/barcode processes, chain of custody, asset records, discrepancy resolution, and standard/ad hoc reporting.
• Coordinate domestic and worldwide shipments, diplomatic pouch requirements, customs documentation, delivery schedules, and deployment priorities.
• Lead logistics personnel, establish performance metrics, manage workload and schedules, and coordinate with acquisition, asset, engineering, deployment, and Government teams.
• Support transition-in of warehouse operations and ensure services remain uninterrupted throughout contract performance.
• 5+ years of experience managing IT logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, or supply-chain operations.
• Experience leading warehouse personnel, workflows, inventory controls, shipping/receiving, and secure-facility operations.
• Knowledge of inventory-management systems, barcode/RFID processes, reporting, and chain-of-custody controls.
• Experience coordinating domestic and international logistics and time-sensitive deployments.
• Strong leadership, planning, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Experience with Department of State logistics requirements, including 5 FAM or 14 FAM.
• Familiarity with the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS).
• Experience managing access-control, alarm, badge, or other facility-security systems.
