Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. We are building a team for the anticipated Department of State Global Mission Operations Support (GMOS) effort supporting the Bureau of Diplomatic Technology, Enterprise Applications Directorate, Office of Consular Systems and Technology.
Receive, inspect, record, track, stage, and maintain accountability for IT hardware, software, supplies, and related assets within secure logistics and warehouse operations. This position supports the Department of State Consular Affairs global information technology environment, which includes domestic and overseas facilities, on-premises infrastructure, cloud platforms, applications, databases, and enterprise support services. This is a contingent position based on contract award and final customer requirements.
• Receive shipments, verify packing documentation, inspect equipment for damage or discrepancies, and record items in the approved inventory system.
• Tag, barcode, or RFID-track equipment and maintain accurate location, status, custody, and disposition records.
• Perform cycle counts, wall-to-wall inventories, reconciliations, discrepancy research, and audit support.
• Stage, issue, transfer, return, and prepare equipment for fulfillment, deployment, repair, excess, decommissioning, or disposal.
• Generate standard and ad hoc inventory, receipt, aging, status, discrepancy, and accountability reports.
• Maintain secure storage, chain of custody, organized warehouse locations, and compliance with facility and property-control procedures.
• Coordinate with asset management, fulfillment, deployment, acquisition, and Government personnel to resolve inventory issues.
• 2+ years of experience in IT asset receiving, inspection, inventory control, warehousing, or property accountability.
• Experience using commercial inventory-management software or asset-tracking systems.
• Familiarity with barcode and/or RFID tracking processes.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry, reconciliations, counts, and inventory reporting.
• Ability to safely move and stage IT equipment and work in a warehouse environment.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Experience with ILMS, ServiceNow Asset Management, or Federal property systems.
• Experience supporting secure Government facilities or large IT inventories.
• Forklift, material-handling, or warehouse-safety training, where applicable.
