Oracle EBS Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA) SME

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled Oracle EBS Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA) SME to support a federal client in enhancing, modernizing, and optimizing enterprise financial systems within a secure environment.

In this role, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert for Oracle EBS Sub-Ledger Accounting, owning SLA configuration, accounting methods, process optimization, audit readiness, and automation initiatives across the enterprise financial landscape. You will work closely with Finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accounting process accuracy, strengthen financial controls, modernize documentation, and identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI-enabled solutions that increase operational efficiency, compliance, and reporting reliability.

What You’ll Do

As an Oracle EBS Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA) SME, you will:

• Lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle EBS SLA accounting methods, account derivation rules, journal line definitions, and supporting configurations
• Update and maintain SLA documentation, functional design artifacts, and process materials
• Improve SLA process speed, accuracy, reliability, and audit readiness
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve workflow efficiency
• Leverage AI/ML and automation tools to enhance exception handling and optimize accounting processes
• Troubleshoot SLA issues and coordinate resolution with Finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Ensure solutions comply with financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Support Agile team practices and collaborate across technical and functional teams
• Support financial audits by maintaining documentation, validating accounting configurations, and assisting with audit inquiries
• Support modernization initiatives that improve financial process efficiency, data quality, and operational transparency

Schedule & Shift Details

• Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Remote work supporting federal financial systems operations

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal clearance
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required
• Minimum of 3–5 years experience with Oracle EBS Financials
• Minimum of 3–5 years experience with Oracle EBS Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA)
• Minimum of 3–5 years experience with automation integration
• Minimum of 3–5 years experience supporting Agile team practices
• Strong understanding of accounting flows, financial controls, and sub-ledger processes
• Experience with documentation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience leveraging automation, workflow optimization, AI, or analytics tools to improve business processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting federal financial systems or regulated financial environments
• Experience improving audit readiness, internal controls, or financial reporting processes
• Experience configuring Oracle EBS Financials modules including General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, or Fixed Assets
• Familiarity with Oracle EBS modernization, process automation, or AI-enabled workflow improvements
• Experience collaborating with Finance, IT, and program stakeholders to resolve system or process issues
