About the Role

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Java Developer to help build web and backend applications and services supporting a credentialing and case management system.

This role will use Java/Spring-based REST APIs, modern web technologies, and continuous integration practices to help deliver next-generation customer engagement systems for federal service agencies. The Junior Java Developer will contribute to front-end and backend development while collaborating with an Agile development team to deliver reliable software solutions.

This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active Final DoD Secret security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise applications using Java.
• Build web and backend applications and services.
• Develop and integrate Java/Spring-based REST APIs.
• Support credentialing and case management system capabilities.
• Develop front-end functionality using technologies such as AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Participate in Agile software development activities.
• Work within a continuous integration environment.
• Use Java development tools including Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.
• Collaborate with developers building customer engagement solutions for federal service agencies.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• Active Final DoD Secret security clearance.
• 2+ years of Java development experience building enterprise applications.
• At least 1 year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java.
• At least 1 year of experience working in an Agile environment.
• At least 1 year of experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Located in Colorado or the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area (DMV).
• Experience supporting a large-scale federal IT program.
• Experience working within the SAFe Agile delivery framework.
