About the Role

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Lead Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to support a federal behavioral health program in El Paso, Texas.

This is a full-time, onsite leadership position for an experienced clinician who can provide behavioral health services to children and adolescents while providing clinical leadership, supervision, mentorship, and support to the behavioral health team.

As the Lead Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist, you'll help foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, clinical excellence, and compassionate care while supporting the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services.

This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who wants to remain connected to direct clinical care while taking on greater responsibility for supporting and developing other behavioral health professionals.

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist will:

  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, mentorship, and day-to-day support to behavioral health team members

  • Provide onsite behavioral health support to children and adolescents

  • Conduct behavioral health assessments, crisis interventions, clinical evaluations, and treatment planning as appropriate

  • Provide clinical consultation and guidance for complex cases

  • Promote trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based approaches to care

  • Support clinical quality, documentation, compliance, and continuity of services

  • Review clinical documentation and treatment plans to support quality and program requirements

  • Support onboarding, coaching, training, and professional development of behavioral health staff

  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, program leadership, and multidisciplinary partners

  • Assist with program implementation, quality improvement initiatives, and operational priorities

  • Maintain a clinical caseload as appropriate while serving as a clinical leader and mentor to the team

  • Maintain professional, ethical, and program standards in accordance with applicable requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field

  • Active, unrestricted, independent clinical license in any U.S. state or territory, including LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, Psychologist, or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory, lead, or clinical management experience

  • Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, families, and/or vulnerable populations

  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, behavioral health best practices, and clinical supervision

  • Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Ability to work onsite in El Paso, Texas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting unaccompanied minors, foster care, refugee populations, residential treatment, and/or child welfare

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary behavioral health teams

  • Experience in crisis response or high-acuity behavioral health environments

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • Experience supporting federal or government-funded behavioral health programs
